Response to Jennifer's Brett Favre and Wrangler Jeans Post

I think Jennifer brings up a very ironic situation. Wrangler, who as Jennifer has stated, promotes reliability and strength, with a motto of “You can count on Wrangler.” Now my question to Wrangler is this, “What in your right mind makes you think Benedict Brett is reliable or that anyone can count on him?” I mean sure he’s a three time NFL MVP and brought the Packers home the Lombardi Trophy from Super Bowl XXXI.
But that’s all besides the point! Good ole Brett decided to retire after the 2007 season, having led the Packers to the NFC Championship game. And so Packer fans and the NFL were forced to move on without… Just kidding! Good ole “reliable” Brett pulled a fast one on the Packers and demanded his spot back! Not having any of his drama, the Packers traded him away to the New York Jets. So after a mediocre season with the Jets, Brett retired again to stay at home and fish all day long… Oh my! Another joke! Can’t-make-up-his-mind Favre decided to give football another chance! This time he signed with his long time rival, http://blog.limerickpost.ie/sport/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/2690700258_69ab64bc7d.jpg. Now being a Packer fan from birth, I absolutely despise the Viqueens. Thinking Favre had done just about all he could by playing football for another team, he went and signed with our nemesis.
Now tell me, Wrangler, how many customers in Packerland do you think you lost by continuing to sponsor this poor specimen of reliability? I think maybe you PR crew might just need to get a reality check and realize that even though their jeans are great, Favre is clearly a very poor choice to back up your motto of “You can count on Wrangler,” because Favre is clearly not someone who you can count on.
